The Black Independent Filmmakers Association (BIFA) Film Festival returns to Houston October 2nd–4th as a space where stories breathe, voices rise, and culture is honored in its fullest expression. Under the theme “Roots: The Rebirth,” this year’s festival reflects on the enduring cultural impact inspired by Roots while opening the door for a new generation of storytellers to shape what comes next.
